PwC Joins Scorius as a Shareholder. PwC and Scorius Initiate Strategic Partnership in Data-Driven HR
A solid HR strategy is built on data-driven insights.
Therefore, as of May 11, 2023, PwC and Scorius are launching a strategic partnership, combining the power of data with the knowledge and experience of HR specialists. This collaboration provides organizations with well-founded insights on which immediate action can be taken, bridging the gap between Finance and HR.
Organizations are each experiencing the consequences of the current tight labor market. Finding and recruiting the right talent is important, but retaining and motivating experienced employees is just as essential. To create the most favorable work environment, insight into the organization is necessary.
The partnership between Scorius and PwC provides organizations with the necessary understanding of what is truly happening on the work floor. Using technology and instruments for data-driven HR, Scorius generates objective insights into the psychological and behavioral aspects behind absenteeism, employee turnover, and productivity, distinguishing between snapshots and long-term trends. PwC translates these insights into advice and concrete improvement actions to implement.
David Verhagen, Managing Partner at Scorius and organizational psychologist: “Our technology is capable of continuously monitoring the sentiment within organizations. It’s comparable to a smart thermometer at home that always tells you the temperature and lets you compare it with your energy consumption. By combining this data with various data sources, organizations also gain financial insights. For example, turnover can decrease by X% by investing in Y, which results in Z.”
Both parties are proud of the collaboration, with PwC acquiring a minority stake in Scorius. This leads to sharp, tailored advice for organizations. Bas van de Pas, partner at PwC: “The use of data analysis allows decisions to be made on more than just gut feeling. Why people want or don’t want to work somewhere and what the causes of absenteeism are can all be measured. The same applies to sentiment and well-being, which can be influenced by targeted actions. That smart thermometer enables us to do this continuously, allowing for quick intervention in unexpected circumstances.”
In the partnership with PwC, Scorius provides the measuring instruments and data analysis. PwC will support with advice and change management if desired.
PwC’s minority stake in Scorius does not change anything for Scorius’s current clients. Scorius will continue to support its clients independently in the future. Clients who wish to do so will have easy access to PwC’s global network of experienced consultants through this partnership.
