Scorius Achieves ISO 27001 Certification

In December 2022, Scorius obtained the formal ISO 27001 certification. ISO 27001 is a globally recognized standard for information security. With this certification, Scorius meets all associated standards and requirements. Clients of Scorius are thus provided with an independent guarantee that Scorius handles data and information correctly and securely.

Aert Vellinga of Scorius explains: “We have spent over a year working towards this certification. Of course, we have always paid great attention to the proper processing of data, but to comply with the ISO standards, we have now developed a complete Information Security Management System (ISMS). In this system, all relevant processes are now fully elaborated, described, registered, and maintained. It is gratifying to receive confirmation through external audits that we have everything in order. No matter how well you manage it, there are always things that can be improved. With this official certification, we all know for sure that we are handling our data in the right way.”
